Are you a registered charity or non-profit in Colchester County?
Do you have an idea or project that can improve the lives of people who live in Colchester County?
United Way can help you by funding your programs or projects that provide opportunities for people to improve their lives. There are three ways to receive funding:
Annually Funded Programs
United Way of Colchester County invests back into our communities through critical programs that work to eliminate poverty, provide access to health or social services, or help kids be all they can be. We ensure our funded agencies are held accountable for both financial and community impact measures.
Do you have a program that will move people out of poverty, help build a healthier community, or helps children succeed?
Contact the office at 902 895-9313 to discuss the funded program requirements, eligibility, or to receive an application.
Community Impact Grants
Due to the public health crisis, Community Impact Grants are not being offered in 2020.
Typically, they are offered twice a year. These are assets that are required by your organization in order to facilitate ongoing operations or to improve upon existing programs and services. These are one-time grants for specific projects or services. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 902 895-9313 for additional information.
Small Project Possibilites Fund
A newer fund for projects up to $500 is available throughout the year. The Small Project Possibilities Fund (SPPF) supports programs, events, and other projects that align with United Way of Colchester’s three focus areas. Contact us for more information about eligibility and the timing of the review process.
