Community Impact Grant

Applications for Fall 2023 Community Impact Grants are NOW CLOSED!

United Way impact grants support tangible assets – including, but not limited to; computers, equipment and supplies, capital assets – that have a direct impact in community and/or supported populations.

Open to registered charitable and non-profit organizations in Colchester County.

Please note:

  • The United Way of Colchester County’s Community Investment Committee reviews all applications and presents their recommendations to the Board of Directors for final approval.
  • All Board decisions are final.
  • Applicants will be contacted regarding the outcome of their application within 60 days of the deadline.
  • Once your project is complete, you will be required to verify that the funds were used for the purpose as specified in your application.
  • Your grant application will not be reviewed until we have received the original signed paper copy and all supporting documentation in both hard copy and electronic format.
  • Priority will be given to organizations or programs that directly support equity deserving populations (African NS, Indigenous, LGBTQIA2S+, Newcomers, and remote/rural communities.)
  • Maximum ask: $5,000.
  • Please email an electronic copy of the completed and signed application plus any supporting documentation to: coordinator@colchester.unitedway.ca.
