United Way Colchester County

Improving lives and building community in Colchester County

Serving Cumberland County

The United Way of Colchester County is committed to leading the 2022 Community Campaign for Cumberland County. All funds raised from donations and workplace campaigns in Cumberland County will continue to be invested in organizations within the Cumberland region.

2022 Campaign Kick Off

L-R: Doug Costin, Owner/ Operator Amherst Tim Hortons, Sarah MacMaster, Executive Director Maggie’s Place Cumberland, and Sam Madore, Executive Director, United Way of Colchester County, working with communities in Colchester & Cumberland counties

We kicked off the 2022 season with the Tim Hortons SMILE Cookie Campaign! Thanks to Doug Costin, owner/ operator of Amherst Tim Hortons for another successful year and a generous donation of $13,225. These funds, as always, will help to support organizations – like Maggie’s Place – in the Cumberland region. Since 2003, Tim Hortons in Amherst has raised over $100,000 for the community.

Many of our employees as well as our customers benefit from the United Way’s funding to the member agencies in Cumberland. As a small business in Amherst, I know personally the United Way does an excellent job helping those people who are most vulnerable in our community, especially now.”

Doug Costin, Owner/Operator Amherst Tim Hortons
